Missions Opportunity

Missions Opportunity in the Mid-Atlantic

Missions, evangelism and disciples making disciples thrills my heart. I love to see people come to Christ. I am overjoyed when I visit the launch of a new church plant. And I am encouraged when I see a church like yours adopt a church planter family and love on them as their U.S. missionary.

In the summer of 2017 I transitioned from NAMB to both plant a new SBC church planting church called “The Crossing” and to help under resourced planters in the DC-Baltimore-Mid-Atlantic region get connected to churches who also love missions. I am a sort of “match-maker” if you will. And I love doing this!

I want to invite you to explore a couple ways we could bring U.S. missions closer to your church family in 2019:

  1. Have you come up for a one day (9 am-3 pm expense paid Mission Opportunity Tour). You will meet church planter families onsite on the front line of missions in their place where God is using them in mighty ways. I would love to host you and your wife/or another staff member/church leader who shares your room. We will cover all costs on site/lodging/transportation/meals. All you have to do is to get here. Simply give me a date that works for you with 3-4 weeks notice and it will be our joy to host you.
  2. You have the opportunity to bring live missionaries to your church in 2019 in a Missions Opportunity Experience onsite at your church.

Read over the below information on how to enjoy a missions celebration your church family will long remember.

Hear what incredible things are happening in Baltimore since the riots of Spring 2015. Hundreds of salvations, dozens of churches planted and the birth of a movement that is actually moving!

Then pick a date and we will bring our team to your church.

We are now taking dates for Missions Opportunity Experiences for 2019.

Your people love doing missions. In many cases, they desire to do missions hands-on. They want to know the church planter they are supporting. They want to hear the stories of God at work. They want to be a part of a movement that is actually moving!

Now they can do all this and more!

A Missions Opportunity Experience at your church brings a team of new church planters as well as fresh possibilities onto your church site for your people to experience their mission dollars at work in real people in specific places in one of the most lost regions in America-the DC-Baltimore Mid Atlantic Corridor.

It is all very simple and fundamentally successful. Our team can preach (usually it is me), share recent stories of God at work, provide planters for your people to interact with and-or provide a video experience of the missions movement recently ignited in Baltimore-DC. Your people will be deeply moved by what they hear and discover.

Here is how to host a Missions Opportunity Experience at your church:

Step One: Set a date. We do these all year long. So select a date that works best for you! We need 2-3 weeks notice of your desired date.

Step Two: Promote the experience using our video, email invites, promotional fliers, etc as well as your own communication avenues.

Step Three: Provide a love offering. This helps us in the work of SBC church plants in this region.
